Eye on Wales

Cyfarchion! (Greetings!)

Please join me on a cultural exploration of Wales, a country I called home for three extraordinary years. My husband's tour of duty brought us to the market town of Haverfordwest, where we lived on the outskirts among Royal Air Force and U.S. Navy personnel.

(Haverfordwest is located about 10 kilometers north-northeast of Milford Haven.)

Eye on Wales will examine the layers of history and tradition that have shaped Wales and its people. Topics will include Welsh cuisine, Arthurian lore, literary figures, national emblems, the Eisteddfod and other festivals.
